Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PPWEditor.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PPWEditor.com is a server-side PDF processing tool that allows authenticated users to add watermarks, headers, footers, metadata, and password protection to PDF files. The Service is provided by Privé Aero.

3. Authentication

Access to the Service requires authentication via LinkedIn OAuth. By signing in, you authorize us to receive your LinkedIn profile information (name, email address) solely for the purpose of creating and managing your account. We do not access your LinkedIn connections, messages, or any other LinkedIn data beyond your basic profile.

4. File Processing and Data Handling

When you upload a PDF file for processing:

• Your file is transmitted securely over HTTPS.
• Processing occurs on our servers and is completed in real time.
• Uploaded files are not permanently stored on our servers after processing is complete.
• Processed output files are returned directly to your browser and are not retained.

5. Usage Limits and Credits

The Service operates under a quota system. Free-tier users are subject to monthly upload and page limits. Additional processing capacity may be available through the purchase of credits. Limits are subject to change with reasonable notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Process files containing illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or our systems.
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service beyond its intended use.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without prior written consent.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of any files you upload and the output files you receive. We claim no intellectual property rights over your content. The PPWEditor.com software, design, and branding are the exclusive property of Privé Aero.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the output will meet your specific requirements. PDF processing results depend on the structure and content of the source file.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Privé Aero shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or business interruption, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
